Nuclear Deal : How to fool people

I was watching an Interview of a well known lawyer Mr. Ram Jethmalani on Sahara Samay, in a reply to a question he said “China, Pakistan and Al-Qaeda are against the nuclear deal between India and US"(!). While one can understand why China & Pakistan are against the deal, I am puzzled how Al-Qaeda can be against OR for the nuclear deal between India & America? Is there anyone who can make me understand?
